Feminist Analysis of Violence Against Women: Case Studies of Female Infanticide in India and Feminicide in Mexico

Feminist Analysis of Violence Against Women

This was a joint research paper between Sofia Ginard, Wellesley College Class of 2020, Economics  Major, and Tarini Miglani, Wellesley College Class of 2019 about a very serious problem in both of our countries: Violence against women.

We use feminicide in Mexico and female infanticide in India to showcase how the inequality process of violence negatively affects women’s lives and the economy as a whole, and we offer a feminist analysis to the issue.

We hope you enjoy reading it.
